What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I am a high-character athlete who is fully committed to getting better. I am looking for a great college experience where I can grow and contribute on 4th down. I am working with One on One Kicking (Mike McCabe) to improve my drop, float and explosion thru the ball. I am hitting 4.5 – 4.7 hang time @ 50 yards with a pop on the ball. In 2016 I was 1st Team All-County and 2nd Team All-Region.
Johnson has a long frame and looks to consistently strike the football. This offseason he really jumped into weight lifting, and over the last year he has gained 30 pounds. The 2018 recruit has solid looking form and is working hard this offseason with professional trainers. In his first two scrimmages he has averaged 38.2 yards per punt with a long of 50.
Very good under pressure. Punting out of his end zone early in his varsity career. Outstanding punt to help his team with field position. Great young man and player. He will go a long way in this sport.
