Since the beginning of the year Hodges has added another 15 lbs. to his frame and is hovering right at 200 lbs. That’s very good progress over that span, more than expected for sure. He was blitzed a lot in 2019, and rightfully so, the 2021 recruit goes in looking for the kill shot. Gets hands on the football a good bit, does a very good job of swiping the ball out to create a fumble. Definitely a SS at the next level. Runs a little stiff, but explosive when performing a tackle. Looks like his hamstrings are a little tight honestly. Hodges is tough as nails and when he makes contact with a ball carrier they usually go down quickly. Will be at the Elite GA game this December, will have more on the 2021 recruit then.
