Gaskin had an older brother at Coffee that was a really good football player, so even without seeing any film we expect him to have a good feel for the game. At 6’2″ and 200 lbs. he definitely has a better frame too. Definitely like how quick his feet and that amount of tackles he makes inside the box. Good top end speed too, Gaskin can get to the sideline fast from his linebacker spot. Needs to work on meeting the ball carrier at the waist, and not arm tackling so much. A lot of profile tackles on film here, but definitely good production none the less. He does a nice job of reading the play and keeping his pads parallel to the LOS. Gaskin is a solid football player with some very good upside given his frame and length he shows. Would like to see him do a better job of getting off blocks, seems to get stuck at times. Definitely needs to refine his fundamentals, especially tackling.
