Zachary consistently stays at it when pass blocking, he does a good job of using his hands and staying inside the pads. At 6’3″ 300 pound, that’s going to grab the attention of a lot of schools since it’s not typical to see an OG whose strengths seemingly is pass blocking. Core could use some work, seems to lose body control at times. He shows that he can use his overall size and strength to really control the line of scrimmage though. Has gone up against solid defensive lineman throughout career, and done well staying engaged with his opponent throughout the play. He’s been the bookend LT for SW DeKalb this season, and his mobility getting to the 2nd level looks much better. You have to like his general power, it’s a reflection of both his improvement in the weight room but also his physicality at the point of attack. I like every thing I have seen from Zachery in the last year, he went from rotational offensive lineman junior year, to starting LT for an undefeated team in Class 5-A. Needs to continue to work in his flexibility, but in general, most colleges should be impressed with his progress over the last year.
