What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Everything

Poole is a wide-shouldered 6’2″ 215 lbs. athlete with a good motor after the football and solid length to get off blocks. He does a good job of setting the edge, using his length and feet to do the work, and is solid ripping through the blocker to make a tackle in the flat. Poole has a lot of good upside. Adding weight to his frame should be no problem, and we can see the senior around 240 or even 250 at the next level. Poole has solid metrics with a 4.35 shuttle time and his weight-lifting metrics indicate good body composition. So he’s a functional athlete, and with a 265 bench and 275 power clean, there is plenty of room to grow, becoming more explosive. Poole’s senior year highlights pick up where he left off junior year. He is aggressive as ever coming off the edge and consistently disrupting the play. Poole does appear to be more measured closing to the ball carrier, and his pursuit angles are better. Washington County senior is a quality edge defender with some good upside to be a defensive disruptor in college.
