Barber has a motor to him and shows really good leg drive on his opponent. He shows nice hip flexibility, and moves well up field. He keeps a flat back when engaged and gets decent leverage on his opponent. He shows a big motor and does a good job of getting the defender to the turf, and that has a lot to do with his natural athletic ability. He’s a big moving body who shows really good body control while he is blocking. Considering his low weight lifting numbers, Barber could really end up being a steal. His bench press should easily be over 300 in a college program very quickly. He’s got more athletic upside than a lot of kids with FCS offers already.
