Williams is pretty quick off the ball, plays well with his hands and gets solid leverage at the point of attack. Looks to have long arms. He’s a solid football player, I would like to see him get out his stance a little quicker. Looks like hip flexibility could use some work. Lateral quickness is good for Williams, and an area where he can continue to improve. Becoming more explosive coming off the ball will make a huge difference. He plays the game with really good energy, and his highlight reel is loaded with tackles coming from the backside. Moved over to OLB his junior year and looked like an absolute beast just running through the ball carrier on some tackles. Really impressed with his consistency and proved to a no doubt P5 OLB/DE recruit. Absolutely love Williams’ versatility to line up with his hand on the ground on 3rd downs but also play linebacker too.
