Szakacs comes with accolades earning North GA TD Club lineman of the year in 2018. The 6’4″ DE has a good motor, and legit looking length on film. Arms appear to be long on film. Very quick off the football, gets leverage quickly and scrapes off his blocks. Smart football player too. He has a knack at reading the QB’s eyes and getting PBU’s. At 6’4″ and 240 lbs I really like his potential as a SDE at the next level. Incredible hustle getting out to the sideline. Pretty quick hands getting off blocks, but can improve in that department no problem. Working on his footwork will set this DE for a huge SR year IMO. Got to like his length and production junior year. Szakacs does a nice job of getting his arms into passing lanes and has a good bit of deflections his senior year. Also long snaps, really think that the 2020 DE prospect is a solid recruit, and one of the better uncommitted linemen left in the state.
