What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I am quick off the ball, able to set the edge on any outside run play, and highly coachable. I switched from defensive tackle to offensive tackle during the off season, proving my versatility. I have played offensive tackle and offensive guard. I also have great footwork which would gives me an advantage over my opponent as an undersized tackle.
Reese is built like a brickhouse, and can just destroy the player lined up in front of him. He plays with good balance, really strong hands and really like his motor driving the defender back. He’s deceptively quick, popping out his stance getting up field. His size is a major advantage, and in pass blocking situations he is really tough to beat showing light feet and he’s tough to move anywhere. Senior year he was extremely productive tallying a lot of pancakes and opening up gaping holes. We were doubtful of his ability to pull across the line, but film proves true, and he makes a lot of explosive blocks where he had to move quickly and show urgency. Reese shows the power and athleticism to play at a high level. If he was a few inches taller he would be a well known prospect in the Gwinnett area. If you can get him to slim down to 300-315 you have yourself one of the sleeper OL in GA.
