Washington is a tough pass rusher who is very active with his hands and really finds a way to make an impact in the backfield. He’s got good speed, and utilizes that quickness to his advantage getting around blocks but also coming behind and making weakside tackles. Washington is a solid recruit, and when he runs in open field can look downright fast, and over the last year, he is much strong at the point of attack. The 2020 recruit has improved a good bit with explosiveness in the last year, and has continued to add weight giving him some hybrid potential at DE or OLB. Washington knows how to finish off a tackle, and he does a nice job of exploding through the ball carrier. Made some improvement in lower body strength, does a much better job of exploding out his stance and always liked his motor pursuing the ball carrier. Definitely playing his best football his senior year.
