Zion Hawkins, who is just a sophomore, helped his team to a record of 7-4 and a playoff berth this season. Starting on both sides of the ball since 9th grade, Zion possess the size and skill set to be a top recruit in Georgia for the C/O 2019.

cxqqulzxaaqckouHe finished 2016 with 36 receptions for 394 yards at slot receiver and 26 tackles at free safety.  Also, he displayed great vision and instincts in the return game as well.  At 6′, and 170 pounds, Hawkins’ explosiveness and ability to make a defender miss in the open field shows that he is a natural playmaker with the ball in his hands.

To go along with his accomplishments on the field, Hawkins sports a 3.4 GPA, which is sure to grab the attention of recruiters. Zion has already been on campus visits to Clemson, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Florida State and North Carolina.

For the next two upcoming seasons, Hawkins will be relied on heavily on the offensive side of the ball. He has a high ceiling, which will definitely make for a busy spring for Zion.
