Northside-Warner Robins JR Aamaury Fountain’s recruitment is catching on fire. The long 6’2″ cornerback prospect is playing lights out football so far this season, and colleges have noticed. This week, the JR has received offers from Duke, Georgia Tech, Howard, FIU, Auburn, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
Fountain discussed the sudden interest, saying, “I feel as if I can’t let it all go to my head because I know where I came from and I know what it takes, so I have to stay humble about that.”
Check out his midseason film at the top of the article, and you’ll see the angular Fountain has excellent acceleration breaking on the football, plus quick hips to flip over and stick with a receiver. Couple that with his length, and you see how Fountain is quickly becoming one of the more coveted prospects in this recruiting class.
“What I think colleges like about my game is I play at a high level with a high motor and I have great football IQ,” he said.
The whole process is moving so fast for Fountain, and he is just now setting up visits with several games upcoming.
“I didn’t have any planned visits; just now getting on the radar, but I will be attending a couple of games like Auburn vs Georgia, Georgia Southern vs Georgia State, Georgia Tech vs Syracuse, and Georgia vs Kentucky,” he said.
Fountain is definitely a prospect to watch closely for the class of 2027. To view his latest recruiting information, check out his Recruit Georgia Profile HERE, and for more Georgia high school recruiting news, be sure to follow @RecruitGeorgia on Twitter/X.
