Perhaps no other senior prospect in the state of Georgia is receiving offers at a rate like Tre Person from Westlake High School. The athletic defensive back received another offer today, this time from the ACC’s Virginia Tech.

The Hokies join Michigan State, Western Kentucky and Cincinnati, all who have offered since the beginning of the new year. Despite all the offers, he remains committed to Georgia Southern, but the Eagles might not hold on for much longer.

Colorado State has made a big push for the hard-hitting defensive back. He visited last weekend with some family and got to take in the scenery. Do not underestimate the Rams; they have put in a lot of work the last few years and their connections in the Peach State have only strengthened.

This upcoming weekend, Person is expected to head up to East Lansing for an official visit to Michigan State. That opens up one more weekend to visit before national signing day, and with Virginia Tech offering now, perhaps they could land his final visit before national signing day?
