Harper Finds Home at Alcorn State

Creekside senior quarterback Felix Harper just decided to commit to Alcorn State today. The athletic dual-threat quarterback had a long recruiting process and has finally found a home with the Braves.

CZ-7UKFWQAAkZjaHe announced today via Twitter:

“First I want to to thank Jesus Christ My Lord and Savior. I want to thank all the colleges and universities for even considering me to play football at their school. I want to thank my family, friends, teammates, and coaches for all of their support! I’am now continuing my four years at Alcorn State University!”

Alcorn State is one of the most competitive HBC’s in the country. With Harper’s commitment, they are landing their top target at quarterback.

The Creekside senior’s career stats is downright amazing. He finished off with 10,122 yards passing, 72% completion, 103 touchdowns and 540 yards rushing.  Absolutely an amazing stat line.

This is a big pickup for the Braves too. Harper was the MVP at the Army Camp over the summer.

He is a great decision maker and spreads the ball around to his offensive playmakers. Rarely do you see Harper lock in on one receiver, and he has an adept understanding of the spread offense.

Expect Harper to make a seamless transition in Alcorn’s spread attack and potentially not redshirting next fall.

Congratulate Felix and comment below!
