Elbert County Lineman Slept On

Meet Worley Robinson, a player we stumbled upon today while looking at Elbert County film, and goodness, are we glad that we did. The 6’4″ 290-pound defensive tackle/offensive lineman is a load and nearly unstoppable at the Class AA level.

So how come Robinson does not have a Rivals, Scout, 247, or heck, not even a Recruit Georgia profile? Good question, and I do not know, but one fact is for sure, very few seniors have emerged this season like Robinson.

The class of ’17 prospect runs a reported 5 flat 40 time and an impressive vertical leap of 29″. That explosiveness is seen on film when he quickly pops out of his stance and drills the poor soul lined up across from him. Robinson is a wrecking crew of a lineman and basically every player that gets in his way is demolished.

Watching the big man move, it’s apparent that he has the potential to play at the FBS level, where he could make an impact at offensive guard or defensive tackle. He gets very good leverage on his opponent, and once his arms lockout out, his legs take care of the rest and it is game over.

From what we can tell, Robinson has no offers but with 476 views and counting on his HUDL, more colleges are sure to stop by the Granite Bowl and watch the talented SR lineman.
