North Gwinnett’s Javonni Cunningham is a 2019 prospect that has seen his recruitment take a leap in the last month, and now sits with double-digit offers in just the month of March. Cunningham, who was just ranked into our top 125 back on February 19th, has seen recent offers from Dartmouth, Harvard, Cincinnati and Tulane. As of right now, all schools are even for Cunningham.

“All 7 (now 8) offers, plus all of the previous offers stand out to me. I’m grateful to know there’s a place for me in one of these great institutions,” Cunningham said.

The 2019 recruit is fresh off a 7-A state title at North Gwinnett and is one of the top slot receivers in the state of Georgia. The All-State return man boasts a 3.5 GPA, and his work ethic is what every college should covet.

Cunningham’s first college offer was back in November 2015 from Howard, and then Michigan and Kentucky submitted their offers last year. So the lightening-quick wide receiver has been on the radar of colleges for awhile now.

In terms of visits this spring, Cunningham does not have everything finalized. He took visits to App State on March 1st, Kentucky on February 27th and Miami-Ohio on February 3rd.

Cunningham shows good elusive nature to his game, has the ability to rip off large chunks of yardage, and keep the defense out of the box and spread out. At 5’10”, the rising senior should be able to fill out his frame, and approach 190 lbs. when he gets into college.

The evaluation period starts up on April 15th, and based off his film last fall, there is no reason not to believe that more offers are on the way for Cunningham. For right now, the senior is taking recruiting process step-by-step, and understands that going to college is far bigger than just football.

“The college for me will have a strong academic program with a football program for scholar athletes.” Cunningham continued, “It’s important for me to obtain a college education, while playing the sport I love. Football has always been my passion, but my education is a necessity. Too many people made sacrifices for me to take my education for granted.”
