What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I love the game and I’m doing anything I can to make it to the next level.

Clark is one of DeKalb County’s returning tackle leaders going into the 2024 season. The highly active McNair defender comes off the edge with an intensity that a lot of high school athletes just do not have within them. His ability to time the snap, and shoot the gap just puts so much pressure on the offensive line. Clark has good closing speed and makes several tackles from the backside where he runs down the QB.  Clark is thirsty for contact, and when he lines up a tackle attempt he hits with authority. Maybe not always with fundamentally sound form, but he consistently drives his legs through the attempt and just keeps after the ball carrier unit they are down. Clark reminds me of Arabia Mountain standout Terray Bryant, a former All-State selection who went on to play at Youngstown State. They both are tweeners at their position, granted, Clark needs to continue to make progress in the weight room, where he is still just scratching at the surface of his potential. For his senior year, we would like to see Clark continue his great level of production but create more turnovers. That could result in an All-State selection by the end of the year, and notably, more recruiting attention.
