Just looking at the athletic profile of Ransom and he just screams FBS talent. He is long, athletic and plays with an explosiveness to him on the field. The 2022 athlete is unique with his wrestling background, that’s not so unusual with a football player, but at his height, it certainly raises an eyebrow. Ransom is pretty good playing in coverage out in the flat. He busts up screen passes. Has pretty good speed getting off the edge and attacking the QB. His ability to get off and around blocks is huge playing on the perimeter. We really like the upside of Ransom. There is a lot to like. We sill would like to see the 2022 be more consistent in his pursuit angles, work on lateral quickness and stay low on his tackle attempts. Overall, his athleticism and size should attract FBS programs from all over. There is just too much upside to ignore.
