Wallace is widely thought of as the more athletic of the brothers, but also more of a basketball player at this current point in time. He’s added some weight and now up to 190 lbs. Wallace has the frame, length and athleticism to be a good DB at the next level. His spring game certainly showed that potential where he caught an interception over the wide receiver, and then ran like a gazelle down field for a score. He has a P5 frame for the position, but still very raw at reading the receiver, and flipping his hips. This was more impressive than what we have seen the first three years. Wallace certainly has the potential, but even watching his tackling form in brief moments and it’s just flat out terrible. The quick-twitch athlete is everything you are looking for an elite cover cornerback though, and we think a D1 school takes a chance on him regardless of his production. He definitely looks faster in the open field with the added muscle this year.
