Welcome to another edition of the recruiting recap! Thanks for stopping by, and if you are new here, this is a feature that covers all of the offers (to the best of my ability) across the state over the weekend, any commitments or decommitments and of course our sleeper of the day. If a player is heating up with several offers in recent days, we’ll highlight that athlete but that’s not always applicable.

Heating Up
Jaaymen Rochell
2022 North Gwinnett
Everyone is looking for that late-bloomer OL for the class of ’22, and Rochell is certainly seeing his recruitment pickup steam. With ETSU and Louisville offering over the weekend, the 6’3″ 290 lbs. senior is starting to solidify himself as an emerging recruit. Those offers are on the heels of one from Wofford earlier in September. Rochell has good versatility playing across the line but looks at home playing center and looking more physical at the point of attack this year. Expect the D1 interest to continue to heat up, especially with his strong academics – 3.7 GPA and 27 ACT.
Sleeper of the Day
Latrell Bullard
2022 North Cobb
Bullard started last year at McEachern in their 3-4 at DE and is now at North Cobb. Bullard has a wide frame standing at 6’2″ and 315 lbs. Even going back to his freshman year and Bullard was at 290 lbs. The point being, the 2022 athlete has been a big guy for awhile. What definitely impressed is Bullard’s ability to take on multiple blocks, beat them and make a play on the football. He’s tenacious and quick enough that it surprises some OL how he can get around. There are several instances on film where Bullard is going 1v1 on a FBS commit and just makes them whiff, and he’s in the backfield making a play before you know it. He has pretty quick hands and feet for a guy his size. Bullard is also an OG last year at McEachern where his explosiveness blocking out in space was utilized a lot when pulling across the LOS. He can flat out mash down a defender into the dirt. Bullard shows good body control while blocking. He is very strong with his hands as run blocker. Overall, Bullard is a solid talent and has the upside to play either OG or DT at the next level. If anything, OG might be the best spot for Bullard based off his junior film. He’s a player to watch closely going into this fall for North Cobb, and early season film proves once more that Bullard is a legit FBS talent, making a lot of plays at NT for North Cobb.
