Ellison has a powerful frame to him and can really explode out of his breaks to get open. He’s got good body control, and overall he seems to play within himself. Ellison’s body control on the sideline is really impressive, and shows the awareness to the toe tap when necessary. He changes directions pretty well, but would like to see him use his blocks a bit better. Right now he just tries to get up field, which he is pretty good at with his explosive first step. He looks to have acceleration to burn a defensive back, against Sequoyah he really had a good game stretching their defense with his speed. He mostly runs short routes, but it seems like every game they call his number on a deep ball.
