King got some solid reps as a sophomore last year, and watching him off the ball, he can explode by slower linemen. The 2020 recruit has legit speed with a sub-5.0 laser 40 time, which is unique for a player at 285 lbs. He is a strong athlete, very good power clean number at 300 lbs. King is a relentless player who makes a good bit of tackles from the weakside. Getting stronger at the point of attack, using his hands to scrape off blocks and make plays in to the backfield are areas to improve. Getting better at getting leverage and staying within his responsibilities of the defense are a few more areas to improve. King has good upside for sure with his speed and strength. Lack of height will obviously be a deterrent, but cannot deny his general athleticism, though he could get quicker moving laterally. Should be in store for a nice junior year.
