Powell is a name that has surfaced on the recruiting scene early during the 2020 recruiting cycle. The OLB/DE edge rusher is well trained and he does a very nice job of ripping through his blocks. Block shedding is well-advance for a player his age and he shows a consistently high motor. Powell is very good at setting the edge and pushing the ball carrier back into pursuit. Very good quickness coupled with getting very low to beat the block and create havoc in the backfield. Powell is a very nice edge prospect who can excel as a 3-4 OLB at the next level. Cannot teach his motor, he is just relentless getting after the ball carrier.
