What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I am an exceptional player. I work hard as a receiver with and without the ball and I believe that is key. I am able to make plays in space. I am also an exceptional downfield blocker. Not only that, but I have a 4.0 and I work just as hard in the classroom as on the field.

Tatum has a good athletic build, he shows light feet and pretty good balance absorbing contact. The 2019 recruit was used mostly as a screen receiver, catching a lot of his passes behind the line of scrimmage. Tatum needs to improve his flexibility, especially in the hips, that would help a lot with his ability to change directions. From a straight-line acceleration stand point Tatum showcases a lot of ability, but need to see more production. He could be a decent defensive back recruit. This spring he got a lot of reps at WR and his HS utilized his skill set mostly on short routes and screen passes as well. He showed the ability to slip through tackles and acceleration to break loose for potential more yards. He is sneak quick, and is able to throw defenders off well. Need to see more production at the varsity level still, but Tatum could be a nice surprise his senior year. Where he needs to improve still is reading his blocks and seeing cutback opportunities – he missed a big play in his spring game by not cutting back up field.
