What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I don’t take off plays, making a great effort, and striving to make plays.

Barnett has bounced around the metro area and now at Johns Creek, and took over the starting OLB job after a strong JR year starting at Roswell at MLB. He shows solid instinct reading the play, but would like to see him be a step quicker filling the hole. Barnett pursues the ball carrier well, and is a solid tackler out in space. He carries his weight pretty well, and think he can push near 240 pounds at the next level since he looks to be a legit 6’2″. Barnett is a secure tackler, and has done a nice job cleaning up his pursuit angles so he is taking a concise route to the ball carrier. His size also allows for him to put his hand on the ground and play DE too on 3rd downs, and the senior has had a good impact getting into the backfield, creating more tackles for a loss. Frame suggest that Barnett is more of a SAM at the college level.
