Coming off a Region Athlete of the Year season, the 2019 quarterback will be suiting up for Habersham Central, where his gun-slinger mindset will be showcases in their wide open offensive attack. He can change direction on a dime, and he uses that well in the pocket to avoid the pass rush and string out plays to really long stretches. He is a natural with the football in his hands, can avoid tackler easily. Luttrell can easily play wide receiver at the next level even if QB doesn’t work out. As a passer the ball certainly leaps off his arm, but would like to see a better trajectory on some of these intermediate passes. He’s a raw QB for sure right now, and footwork needs refinement as we see him throw off his back foot, lose velocity. Luttrell is a quality athlete though, and he performed well against all kinds of talent last fall – see Alpharetta and Marist film for top playoff teams he went up against. His speed tested out well at Kennesaw where he ran a 4.64 40 time. Played SS last year as well.
