What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
What makes me stand out as a future collegiate athlete is that I am very competitive. I also try to play my all on every play like it is my last play. I am coach able and I have a drive to get better every day and be better then the person beside me.
Shy is an explosive athlete with a crazy high vertical jump at around 40″. He is a home run threat with speed but his ability to cut on a dime is worth noting. Shy made some really explosive plays during his HS career, we thought he would do well at camps, but unfortunately only earned one offer over over the summer. Does not seem possible that his shuttle time is lower than his 40 but you don’t see him make too many cuts, just mostly running straight long routes, which is perfect for his QB’s big time arm. Shy is a legit freaky athlete, who can make explosive plays and is extremely affective running seam routes out of the slot.
