Northside-WR’s Rozier Looks Razor Sharp

Kicking off this season’s Offensive Lineman of the Week is Northside Warner Robins’ junior blocker, Jeremiah Rozier. The explosive 6’3″ 275 lbs. blocker was bullying around Eagle’s Landing defenders in a 42-6 Week 1 blowout win.

“I feel like I set the tone from the jump. I played physical, stayed consistent, and really dominated my matchups,” Rozier said.

Rozier is a technically sound blocker who plays with great leverage and has violent hands at the point of attack. His highlight reel is littered with bone-crushing pancake blocks.

As a returning starter, Rozier brings back a full year’s worth of experience at Northside, and has built off that strong sophomore campaign during this offseason to sharpen up his game.

“I feel like where I improved the most is my confidence. I think confidence plays a big part in playing OL. I have better pad level this year, so that was something I worked on also,” he said.

On the recruiting front, Rozier is hearing from Auburn, Georgia, Florida State, Duke, USF, Maryland, Wake Forest, Pitt and Louisville. He’s locked in visits with USF on October 3rd, Maryland on October 21st, Auburn on October 24th, and FSU on October 31st.

The explosive lineman already holds 8 offers, most notably UGA, FSU, Kentucky, Wake Forest, and Maryland. And while his recruitment is in a great place, Rozier’s focus currently is on football season.

“My goals this year is the help turn the culture around for the last 2-3 years. We haven’t put up a good representation of who and what Northside is. I also wanna be 1st team all-region, ranked higher, All-American, and AJC Super 11,” he said.

Rozier’s game 1 film really pops. The lineman keeps his head on a swivel, finding opportunities to make a key block, and his relentless effort will grab the attention of any scout. At the next level, the junior will have to play inside offensive line, and given his incredible athleticism plus reactions, the 2028 blocker seems like a great fit at center.

No doubt, we expect Rozier’s great start to the season to keep on rolling, so be sure to follow @RecruitGeorgia on Twitter/X to hear the latest on the JR and athletes all across Georgia.
