We also have a poll for our Player of the Week directly underneath, which will end on Tuesday at 10 p.m. You can only vote once per hour! The winner will get a featured story on the website and a custom highlight video.

Trey Smith
SR Roswell
Quarterback

Smith does it again! Roswell takes down Gainesville 37-35, beating the favored Red Elephants for the 2nd year in a row. SR QB Trey Smith completed 16 out of 22 passes for 275 yards and rushed for 84 yards plus four touchdowns on 22 carries. To seal the game, Smith also recovered an onside kick with 1:17 remaining. The Furman commit has his team 8-1 on the year and the #3 team in 5A.

Kalil Charles
SR Cass
Running Back

Cass clinched its first home GHSA playoff game by beating Allatoona 22-19, and it was SR Kalil Charles who went off, rushing for 298 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries. Charles has 1536 rushing yards for the regular season. Cass is the #10 team in 4A and finishes its regular season 8-2.

Bryian Duncan
JR Cairo
Athlete

Duncan was amazing against Peach County totaling all 5 of the touchdowns as they successfully upset the #2 team in 3A by a score of 38-31. Duncan had a 62-yard and 59-yard touchdown receptions, returned a blocked field goal 78 yards for a touchdown, and returned a punt 70 yards for a touchdown, creating an offensive onslaught that gave Cairo a 35-16 lead. The junior has several D1 offers and has been among the most productive career rushers in his class, but in this matchup, his elite open field speed at receiver was a difference-maker. That type of versatility should have FBS programs excited.

Tamari Curry
SR Westside-Augusta
Athlete

Curry has become a repeat offender in the top players of the week. After beating Baldwin 44-27 and rushing for 334 yards and four touchdowns on 34 carries, Curry more than deserves the recognition once more. Curry is just too explosive with the football in his hands, and defenses just have had no answer thus far this season. Westside continues its unbeaten streak at 9-0 and has a premier matchup against West Laurens this Friday that will decide the Region title game. Both teams are undefeated, and showcase two of 3A’s top rushers, in Westside’s Curry and West Laurens’ SR back Ty Cummings – college scouts near and far away should be attending.

Emmanuel Ajayi
JR Villa Rica
Running Back

Villa Rica JR had a school record-breaking 334 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns in a 56-35 win over Kennesaw Mountain. The explosive JR put in some major work in the weight room last offseason, and this big game is a pinnacle moment in his career. For Villa Rica, they move to 4-2 in region play, tied with East Paulding, who they play this Thursday to decide third-place seeding in the GHSA playoffs.

Blaise Thomas
SR Savannah Christian
Quarterback

SR Blaise Thomas played unreal against Swainsboro last week. The senior completed 14-of-18 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries in a 45-19 win over the #4 team in Class A DI. Thomas ran the offense to perfection, keeping the defense off balance with well-executed fakes, and showed off his speed in the open field. Savannah Christian moves to 6-3 on the season and will match up next week against Class A DI’s #1 team, Toombs County.

Michael Miller
SOPH GAC
Quarterback

The sophomore was just a few yards short of 500 yards on the night. Miller completed 21-of-29 passes for 325 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 161 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-35 win over Pickens. He confidently snapped off throws with accuracy, standing tall and making tough decisions in the pocket, while also looking elusive in the open field. Miller will be a 2028 QB to watch over the coming years.

Champ Tillman
JR Tucker
Running Back

Tillman had 187 rushing yards on 20 carries for two touchdowns in a playoff-clinching 28-17 win over St. Pius. The junior was too fast for the pursuit, breaking off one of the longest runs of Week 11 from 95 yards out. Tillman redirected and adjusted to the defense, showing quick, subtle jukes inside the tackles to pick up chunks of yardage and the toughness to reach back to get extra yards after contact. Last Friday’s game was a big-time performance.

Chad Fairchild
SR Lovejoy
Linebacker

In a key Region 2 matchup vs Northgate for 2nd place, Fairchild played one of his best games of his career with 16 tackles, 3 for a loss, and a sack to help his team win 14-7. Lovejoy improves to 8-1 in the year. The ECU commit positions his team to a Region 2 title game showdown with #1-ranked Langston Hughes in what looks to be one of the top matchups in the state for Week 12.

Chandler Dyson
SOPH Warner Robins
Quarterback

The upset of Week 11 goes to Warner Robins, who beat the 28-point odds and defeated #5-ranked Ware County 48-44. Warner Robins secures a playoff bid, and a major credit goes to sophomore passer Chandler Dyson. He was on fire, completing 17 of 24 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns and also rushing for 100 yards on 12 carries for another score. Warner Robins can secure 2nd place seeding with a defeat of Perry this Friday.

Kaden Carter
SR Lamar Co.
Linebacker

Lamar County’s Kaden Carter had 19 solo tackles and a forced fumble, plus a 16-yard reception in a 22-6 win over Social Circle. Amazingly, they won despite 90 yards of offense, which credit to the defense, creating 4 turnovers, spearheaded by Maryland commit Kaden Carter. Lamar County moves to 9-0 on the year with a ranked region title matchup against unbeaten Monticello this Friday. No film yet for Carter’s game.

Darron Parry
SR North Forsyth
Running Back

North Forsyth SR Darron Parry absolutely dominated, rushing for 257 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-7 win over Alpharetta. The 5’8″, 183 lbs. senior running back broke the school’s single-game rushing record. He was elusive, spinning out of tackles and showing great top-end acceleration, hitting another gear and blowing by pursuit angles. Parry is an explosive, underrated SR back that should be one to watch down the stretch.

Bobby Reynolds II
SOPH Coffee
Running Back

The sophomore running back was superb, rushing for 229 yards and a touchdown while also nabbing 4 receptions for 134 yards and another score. With over 350 yards of total offense, Coffee rode the sophomore athlete to a 35-25 win against Veterans and has locked into the GHSA playoffs. They have a tough matchup against #2-ranked Thomas County Central this Friday.
