Armond Parker
SR Locust Grove
Quarterback

Parker threw for 502 yards and 6 touchdowns in their blowout 40-0 win over Woodland-Stockbridge. The Locust Grove SR throws some serious gas, and last week’s win against Woodland-Stockbridge was a record-breaking performance. Locust Grove is 6-1 on the year and in the driver’s seat to win the region.

Cayden Benson
SR Creekside
Quarterback

Homecoming Night at Creekside led to a lot of fireworks on the field. Creekside beat Pace Academy 55-0, and SR QB Cayden Benson was 15-of-24 passing for 454 yards and 6 touchdowns while also being named Creekside’s Homecoming King. The SR passer is orchestrating one of the top offenses in the state, averaging 57.14 points per game. Creekside is undefeated this season and one of the best teams in the GHSA regardless of classification.

Layne Vaughn
SR Gordon Lee
Athlete

The senior two-way athlete out of Gordon Lee had 20 carries for 185 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns while also nabbing 3 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, and a PBU. Gordon Lee pulls away with a 42-7 win in a big region matchup over Dade County, giving the program a 5-1 record on the season. Vaughn is a very underrated two-way player for the Trojans, and producing at an All-State level.

Ethan Corpus
SR Allatoona
Running Back

Allatoona’s Ethan Corpus rushed for 331 yards and 5 touchdowns in a crazy 49-35 win against Woodland-Cartersville. Corpus is taking advantage of his opportunities this fall and is among Cobb County’s leading rushers at the moment. The 5’10”, 200 lbs. back remains under the radar with his sole offer from Shorter.

Chance Sims
SR Worth Co.
Linebacker

Sims was key in the 41-40 win over Thomasville last Friday. The SR linebacker had 12 tackles and two interceptions, including the game-clinching two-point conversion attempt in overtime to finish off the game. Worth County remains undefeated. The 6’2″, 210 lbs. linebacker has been playing excellent football for one of Class A’s best teams.

Ashton Barton
JR Peach Co.
Running Back

JR back Ashton Barton rushed for 230 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries while also making an impact on special teams with a 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. The speedy Peach County JR helped his team to a 52-20 win over Dougherty and remains firmly at #2 in our Class 3A rankings.

Hudson Hulett
SR North Murray
Athlete

North Murray’s Mr. Do-it-all, Hudson Hulett, was 4-of-6 passing for 80 yards and a touchdown, rushed for 242 yards and four touchdowns on 21 carries, while also tallying 11 tackles on defense. North Murray beats Sonoraville 49-21 and is ranked #10 in our 2A rankings. Hulett is basically a lock to be All-State in 2A this season; the better question will be the position.

Reid Giles
SR Rabun Co.
Athlete

SR athlete Reid Giles rushed for 243 yards and four touchdowns on 20 carries, catching another TD pass and returning a punt 47 yards for a touchdown. He also had an interception on defense. With a total of 6 touchdowns, over 300 yards offense, Giles continues to show each week why he is one of the most versatile playmakers in Class A DI. Rabun County beats Commerce 55-28 and moves forward to 7-0 on the season.

Michael Johnson
SR Carver-Atlanta
Defensive Lineman

SR DL Michael Johnson returned a fumble 87 yards for a touchdown and had four tackles for a loss in a 35-14 win over KIPP Atlanta Collegiate. Carver continues their undefeated season at 7-0. SR DL, who stands 6’1″, 240 lbs., is the active tackle for loss leader in the GHSA with 111 on his career.

Marty Thomas
SR ARC
Linebacker

Senior linebacker Marty Thomas played great last week with 12 total tackles, 3 tackles for a loss, and over 100 rushing yards with 3 touchdowns in a 47-37 win over Baldwin. ARC now positions itself 3-2 in the region and well well-positioned to make the 3A playoffs. Thomas is an explosive, underrated SR linebacker who we just recently scouted on the site HERE.
