What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
My attitude as I want to be the best that I can be both on and off the field. I am willing to learn and I am very coach able. I want to use the platform to get a great education and enjoy collegiate life as a football player. I am a firm believer in hard work pays off. I believe in God, family and football.
Brock is a talented DE for a class of 2018 prospect. He does a good job of setting the edge, pursuing the backside of the play and making a play on the ball carrier. Mattison has continued to fillout his frame and it looks like he could weight near 250. He is coming off a foot injury and didn’t get to 100% until later in the season but if you watch his film you will see his instant impact as a pass-rusher for Buford. Mattison looks more explosive at the point of attack. He uses his hands violently and showcases a promising swim move which allows him to blow by the offensive lineman. Looks like teams used a RB or TE to help chip block at times. The rising senior is beginning to physically mature into an FBS caliber pass-rusher and college programs should be all over him during the evaluation period.
2015 2nd Team All Region
2015 Stats: 63 tackles (42 solo) and 10 sacks (#22 in the state overall, #3 in the region, and #1 for class of 18 players)
This kid started all his varsity games except for 1 game. He played season opener with a broken toe and sat out the next game. Great motor, huge upside and listens,
He’s very powerful off the ball and only a C2018!
Sick dope athlete
Very solid DE prospect!
