Welcome to another edition of the Recruiting Recap! Thanks for stopping by, and if you are new here, this is a feature where we cover all of the offers around the state, who has committed recently and of course our sleeper of the day. When the shoe fits, we also do a heating up feature, but the temperament of that feature is dependent on who is getting offered, and how often over a short stretch – hence they are heating up.
Well, I hope everyone is doing okay. We just unveiled our first edition of the 2020 team rankings in the state, so please go check that out HERE. We have a few stories coming out today on the top play winners from Week 4, so be sure to keep an eye out for those stories later today too.
Outside of that, I hope every is staying safe. It’s officially now October, and weather is really turning out to be great for the weekend, so enjoy the good weather and football going on around the state of Georgia. – David

Evan Smith-Rooks
2021 Pace Acd.
Oberlin College
Scoop: Smith-Rooks has solid size at 6’4″ and has good varsity experience under his belt. He is a good student with a 3.5 GPA, should be a very good student-athlete for Oberlin College. Smith-Rooks throws a very catchable ball, and is able to locate open receivers early.

Sleeper of the Day
Kambren Robinson
2021 Jefferson
The small cornerback who is also a basketball standout has legit speed. He is legit one of the fastest players we have seen with pads here in the state of Georgia in the class of 2021. He doesn’t have good size, in fact, he is downright small at 160 lbs., but Robinson is super quick and with his basketball background he shows outstanding lateral quickness too. Robinson is very good at playing the football up top. He needs to work on getting his head around on the ball, but he reads the receiver and times his breakup pretty well. He looks really good in man coverage, not only is his quickness and speed legit, but he does a really good job of reading the receiver and shows good patience. Sometime he goes in for a tackle where he could honestly just pick it off, but still, Robinson probably had close to 4 interceptions on the year in 2019. His tackling is solid, he does a good job of getting low. Robinson is the perfect CB to start over at nickle. Robinson has an offer from UAB over the summer, and Concorida back at the end of Augsut, but definitely deserves more college attention this fall. He’s also a good returner on special teams, and shows very upside on punts especially where he is proficient at making the first tackler miss.
