Smith landed a few very early offers in the 2019 offseason from a few P5’s. The 2021 wide receiver definitely has good speed. He gets up field on his release and is tough for most cornerbacks to flip their hips quickly enough and stick with. Smith makes tough catches also – defenders will be completely draped over him. Has continued to do well in the playoffs too with a 100 yard game in the 2nd round. I like the adjustments he is making on these passes, and he plays a lot bigger than his 5’10” measurement would suggest. No doubt in my mind that Smith continues to land FBS offers.
