Harris was the electrifying all-purpose back that turned the wheels of the McNair HS offense as a sophomore and a freshman. The 2020 running back has very good acceleration in the open field, he gets low to the ground when making a cut, and has excellent balance absorbing tackles. It’s easy to see the 2020 APB being used a lot in receiving situations where he can create more in space. Harris did a better job of using his blocks and showed more patience from sophomore year. He showed some solid speed his junior year, and that was an area of concern honestly heading into his junior year. He also got some reps on defense where he snagged a few INT’s. Harris is a very competitive player, and doesn’t back down against any athlete. Harris would be a good player to workout at DB too at camps this summer. His offensive game has not developed as his early HS film suggested, and he really didn’t grow much more.
