Holt played LT all of 2017. He shows pretty good strength, especially up top and has nice pass blocking skills especially. He plays the game with good urgency. On screen passes out to the flat he gets up field pretty well and does a good job of lining up his block. Holt has quality fundamentals, a very good kick step especially. This spring he was getting more snaps at center, which is where he is expected to play in college. He does a good job of getting leverage on the defender. The area he needs to really improve is hip strength and flexibility. I would like to see him pop out his stance quicker and generate more power when he is engaged with a defender. Right now, he mostly relies on his superior strength up top. Holt is a good fit for a pass heavy team and has the flexibility to play both C and OG at the next level. I would expect him to be around 300 lbs in college.
