What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I have started on varsity since my sophomore year at center. I was named to the All-Region, All-County, and Chattanooga Times-Free Press Best of Preps team following the 2017 season. I will do whatever is best for my team.
Calhoun offensive line really gelled this year and King was a major reason why. The 2019 lineman is still filling into his body, but I really like how he gets up field and does a great job of getting leverage on his opponent. King is a relentless blocker. He is quick at the point of attack and gets out his stance really quick. Took down North Murray’s big time lineman quickly on several plays. He’s got really good strength. Over the next 4-6 months I would like to see him closer to 260 pounds. If so, we think FCS schools will be interested when you consider his frame and academics.
