Cobb went from Northside-WR to Peach from junior to senior year. He’s an aggressive cornerback, shows above average quickness, especially light feet. He’s an aggressive play, does a decent job of raking the football out. He has gained 30 lbs in the last year. Completely different athlete. Cobb has reportedly not given up a completion to a receiver senior thru 6 games, and has show really quick hips sticking with the receiver down field. Peach County looks like one of the best teams in Class AAA, and the class of 2019 CB has been getting significant reps against quality opponents. Jax State offered over the summer, and very quick CB looks to be proficient in man coverage. He’s pretty close to raking out a fumble soon too, but overall tackling is solid. Footwork is solid in coverage but generally his athleticism is what gives him an advantage. Lack of height is so overrated for CB’s, and college teams consistently reach on 6’1″ players against much quicker 5’10” & 5’11” players.
