Ogbonna has two older brothers who will be suiting up to play college at the next level this upcoming fall. He has really good height at 6’3″ and shows a ton of athletic upside. He played QB for his JV squad as a sophomore, and what we really like is he took full advantage of the loss of seniors, and became the partial starting quarterback his junior year. From an athletic stand point Obonna shows a ton of upside. He has tremendously long arms just like his brothers, and receiving situations he displays a crazy long catch radius. Velocity on his passes are pretty high, and he can really drive the ball out on a line down field, which allows him to fit the ball in tight spaces. Experience playing quarterback is a concern for a colleges at the next level. I would wait to see his production senior year before offering at that position, but looking at him as a pure athlete he should get earlier recruiting attention.
