What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I’m a very hard worker on the field and in the weight room. I’m always looking for different ways to take my game to the next level. I take the classroom very seriously, and i always put my teammates before myself. I am a long DB who can play inside or outside.
Gonyea has solid size and instincts to be a factor out their against the pass and run. The 2018 recruit is a solid tackler and has a nose for the ball. Would like to see him gain more weight and improve his agility but really like his ability to play the deep pass and his timing to break it up. Gonyea has focused on his speed this offseason and has dropped his 40 down to 4.62. He got a lot of work at wide receiver this year, making a few difficult catches. Gonyea is just a hard worker, and you’ll be getting a guy who will log in the hours to excel at any level.
