Cartersville senior Trevor Lawrence played the best season of his high school career despite his team falling out of the playoffs earlier than he would have wanted. Moving over to defense, where another Blessed Trinity player makes the list in JR Bivens. The junior defensive lineman had a whopping 89 tackles, 11 sacks and also 4 forced fumbles. He was moved all around the line, and BT used his speed a lot on stunts. Daniel Lavelle from Mary Persons is a strong young linemen with a really big motor. He ended his junior year with 101 tackles on the season. Travon Walker was dominant playing all across the defensive line, where his size and speed were nearly impossible to stop. How bout that sophomore kicker from Spalding. He was averaging 50 yards a punt. Saw him kick a 57 yarder in pregame. Kids got a leg. And he’s only a sophomore. Better keep your eyes on him.
