It goes without saying Austin Parker is our All-State QB this year. The 2018 quarterback from East Hall threw a state-leading 4,563 yards in just 12 games. The most amazing stat was his 50 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions on the year. The two playoff games he played in were absolute shootouts in which his team scored over 100 points combined, and he totaled right at 1,000 yards passing. Parker is still extremely slept-on in the state of Georgia, and whoever ends up with him will get a savvy quarterback with an innate feel for the game.

C’Bo Flemister put his team on his back this year and led the entire state in rushing with 2,348 yards and 35 rushing scores. He came up big with over 250 yards rushing on 51 carries in a major playoff victory against a very talented Crisp County defense. Earlier this month Flemister committed to Georgia Tech. Jenkins running back Ameen Stevens averaged 9.5 yards per carry as he steamrolled opposing defenses for 1,905 yards rushing and 26 touchdowns. The senior was one of the true breakout players in the state of Georgia this year. GAC’s Kyler McMichael was dominant this year, averaging a classification-best 11.6 yards per rush attempt. The 2018 Clemson commit totaled 1,483 yards and 24 touchdowns while also being a key contributor on defense. Liberty County’s Kris Coleman was a blur on the field this year, rushing for 1,787 yards. His total yardage eclipsed the 2K marker, and he averaged 9.8 yards per touch on the year.

Sedrion Morse was Parker’s top target at East Hall, and he totaled a classification-leading 1,362 yards (123 ypg). His 22 touchdowns not only led all wide receivers but ranked him 10th in total scoring. Jenkins wide receiver Tyrone Scott is a high-pointing master when he goes up for a catch. The Central Michigan commit had 1,131 yards on 58 receptions and 12 touchdowns. Jadon Haselwood from Cedar Grove was just recently announced to be his region’s player of the year. The 2019 Georgia commit is the smoothest route-runner we have seen in the state, and he can just obliterate a defensive back in man coverage. He scored 17 touchdowns on the season. North Murray’s Connor Rice was outstanding this year, with 1,100 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns on the season. The senior has good size, extremely reliable hands and a quick first step on his release. He burned a great Calhoun defense for multiple long scores.

Paving the way for C’Bo Flemister is Jacob Patterson from Pike County. The junior is an ultra-competitor and played his best football against Crisp County and Cedar Grove in the playoffs. Courtney Perkins from Monroe moved over to center this year giving his squad a major advantage in the middle. Right now in-state schools Kennesaw State, Georgia State and Georgia Southern are showing a ton of interest. Luke Griffin is another North Murray player to make our squad. The powerful road-grading lineman plays on both sides of the ball and helped contribute to their high-powered offensive attack. Bucky Williams from Ringgold is an absolute technician in the trenches. The battle-tested senior has continued to add on weight and will be a steal for a college at the next level. Jamaree Salyer is one of the most powerful linemen at the point of attack in Georgia. He will be competing in the US Army All-American game that will be televised later this month. Christopher Hinton is fresh off winning lineman of the year in his region. The Greater Atlanta Christian offensive lineman opened up massive holes and had two running backs average right at 10 yards per carry.

Mitchell Fineran earns a hotly contested All-State kicker spot after going 13-of-19 with a long of 53 yards. The senior has one of the strongest legs in the state of Georgia and is being pursued by Georgia Tech, Mercer, Samford and Georgia Southern. Jammie Robinson amassed a total of 2,027 all-purpose yards this season. The junior had 1,056 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground to go along with 361 yards receiving on just 15 receptions. He was also a classification leader on kick returns. On defense, he had 73 tackles, 7 tackles for loss and 2 INTs.

Moving over to the defensive side of the ball, we will kick off with Javion Heard. The Monroe Area senior had 79 tackles and a whopping 26 tackles for loss from his defensive end spot. Tramel Walthour held it down in the middle for Liberty County with 81 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 7 sacks. The 2018 UGA commit will be an absolute stud at the next level. Warren Breakfield from Monroe played great his senior year with 71 tackles, 23 of those coming for a loss, and 6 sacks. He has a knack for getting his hands on the football and caused 4 fumbles while also recovering 3. Colleges are sleeping on the productive lineman nicknamed “The General.” Ben Brewton from Beach ended up with 65 tackles, 13 sacks and 24 tackles for loss on the season. The speedy edge rusher was one of the sack leaders in Class AAA.

Senior Devontae Hardrick’s 100 tackles led the way for the vaunted Crisp County defense. He is one of the biggest hitters in the state of Georgia and has a passion for the game. Kalen DeLoach was right at the top of the classification with 158 tackles, 30 tackles for loss and 14 sacks. The 2019 linebacker is a reported “gym rat” and shows elite speed. He was offered by Georgia and Clemson this week. Davis Allen from Calhoun was right on the heels of DeLoach for the tackle lead with 151. The 6’5″ junior linebacker shows outstanding reactions, and his length in the middle disrupts a team’s passing attack. JaQuez Jackson played lights-out this year with 137 tackles,28 tackles for loss and 5 sacks. The Peach County senior is an all-out hustle player who will be suiting up for Georgia Tech next year. Bailey Lester was the leader of this year’s state-champion squad at Calhoun. The senior totaled 124 tackles, 27 tackles for a loss and 12 sacks on the year. He just recently was named his region’s defensive player of the year. Cedar Grove’s Isaiah Ratcliff is a heat-seeking missile out there on the field. The sophomore sensation totaled 162 tackles on the season, which led all of Class AAA. Last month Ratcliff was announced as DeKalb defensive player of the year.

Brannon Spector was a fantastic two-way player this year, and he earns a spot on the defensive side of the ball. The 2019 star shows elite ball skills and field awareness, which allowed him to total 74 tackles, 8 tackles for a loss, 2 forced fumbles and 2 interceptions. Tre Morrison was another elite two-way player to make the All-State squad. The GAC senior is one of the best in Georgia at tracking passes and attacking the ball. He is also an elite open-field tackler. Peach County senior Shamarcus Redding was a turnover magnet this year with 4 interceptions and 4 forced fumbles. The 2018 recruit also had 112 tackles, 76 solo. Ringgold junior Andre Tarver is a fantastic athlete who makes an impact on both sides of the ball. The 2019 multi-sport standout had 100 tackles (60 solo), 14 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles and 2 interceptions. Dawson County’s Logan Barnes led all defensive backs this year with 122 tackles. He is a quick reactor to the play and gets downhill to stop the run.

Westminster’s Alex Gracey earns the All-State punter spot. He averaged right at 40.8 yards per punt, and 16 of his 29 punts were downed inside the 20. Peach County’s Kearis Jackson had his season cut short due to injury, but he still managed to lead Class AAA with 31.7 yards per kick return. He had over 576 total yards on returns. including two punts he brought back for a score.

  10. I have been notified potentially about voting fraud occurring and looked into it. Someone had set up a bot to vote for Bailey Lester every 20-30 seconds and had made 656 extra votes. We have now corrected the voting numbers to reflect what people actually believe, and not just what one individual wants to manipulate. I will not accept any form of cheating on my website, and will delete any votes created by a bot. So please, whoever is making the bot stop, you are ruining this for everyone, and keeping me up real late trying to fix the site.

I think everyone one that voting needs to take a look at Austin Parker. Look at his stats for the year and career there’s no comparison for what he has done in three years as a started for the Easthall Vikings. He’s #1 east of the Mississippi and # 4 in the nation. And he should be player of the year hands down…..

  12. Dadgum. Calhoun will cheat at anything! How embarrassing.

    1. To be perfectly honestly I need better voting software too but I do hate bots. It was probably a student who did it… no big deal

  13. Cbo flemister all the way

  14. I’ve been following the poll closely. The Calhoun kid made up an impossible amount of ground even after you caught the bot. I would bet there were more illegitimate votes. I guess he has another tainted title to add to his resume.

    1. You are right. Sorry everyone, I was literally talking with college coaches after I published 6-A’s All-State team. Hold on to your hats, it’s about to be real close. Will check back in 20.

  15. Well, whoever/whomever did this really ruined the vote. JaQuez Jackson wins. There was two bots voting for Bailey Lester that were created again today. One made 900 votes and the other made 310, but honestly I stopped deleting them. This was terrible. This vote is suppose to be mostly for fun, and just to get the community involved on my website. Admittedly I make decent ad revenue during this one time of the year, but whoever did this discouraged voting by creating a fake lead. Very disappointing guys. I’m sorry for all the problems, but JaQuez Jackson is the winner.

  16. Thanks for figuring it out so the right kid won. Sorry you even had to deal with that problem. You may want to think twice about including Calhoun kids in the future!
