VERSION 1.1
What is my definition of South Georgia? Any school below the gnat line starting with Warner Robins all the way to the Florida line. This also includes schools from Savannah to Columbus in the geographic area of South Georgia.
It’s safe to say that the area south of the gnat line is under recruited. Outside of Columbus and Savannah the distance between schools can be time consuming for college coaches on the recruiting trail.
Below is version 1.2 of the South Georgia Top 60 for the class of 2018. Early verbal offers are not taken into consideration for making the list. Film evaluation, size, athleticism and production are the criteria used for making this list.
There are ten new additions to the 2018 South Georgia Player Rankings as we expand from a Top 50 to a Top 60. This is a great list for FBS, FCS and DII schools looking to get a jump on next year’s recruiting class.
The highest new addition is athlete Randon Jernigan of Glynn Academy. Through ten games this season he has run the ball 46 times for 585 yards and five scores while catching 12 passes for 240 yards and a pair of touchdowns. This versatile athlete has also completed all four pass attempts for 127 yards and a touchdown. He comes in at #35.
Coming in at #39 is pass rushing specialist Traivaun Sanders of Bryan County. In only nine games this year he has recorded 36 tackles, 12 TFL’s and nine sacks. At 6-foot-2, 200-pounds Sanders projects as an outside linebacker.
Making his entry at #41 is wide out Dalrone Donaldson of Coffee. Through the first 12 games of the season Donaldson has caught 33 passes for 589 yards and seven touchdowns.
Two-sport star Tyrone Scott of Jenkins comes in at #45. This past season he caught 30 passes for 821 yards and six touchdowns while also returning three punts for 117 yards. As a sophomore he helped lead the Warrior basketball squad to a 28-5 record by averaging 8.4 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per contest.
The South Georgia Top 60 will be updated and expanded, but we need your help in finding the college stars of tomorrow whether they are FBS, FCS or DII. If you feel that a player from South Georgia in the class of 2018 is missing please feel free to contact us via twitter @BVEvery or @RecruitGeorgia.
Our goal is to help as many football players in the state of Georgia reach their goal of playing football on a full or partial scholarship. In the end it’s the education that a student athlete receives that will eventually carry them through their entire life. Football is a great sport but eventually it comes to an end at an early age no matter how good you are.

Yes you are missing a player. Hunter Hall #44 Glynn Academy. Sorry but he’s your best linebacker in Georgia. You need to look at film or highlights.
Hunter Hall is a great kid and athlete. He is over looked and under recruited from what I see. The kid has talent. He’s started the year’s and will be staying his senior. Don’t let that kid get through the cracks. #44 Hunter Hall from Glynn Academy. Look him up on Twitter, Facebook, hurl.

Have you not looked at Hunter Hall from Glynn Academy? Totally should have made this list. He is a player all coaches should be watching. I’ve attended most GA games, and I’ve never seen him miss a tackle.
Where’s Glynn Academy’s linebacker Hunter Hall, that kid is a beast! He tackles from sideline to sideline, is a ball hawk, & can read it like I’ve ever seen. He’s physical & aggressive, & he brings an energy to their defense that makes it work. There is no way that kid shouldn’t have made the top 50!
